A Bit About Me
Welcome,
I am a versatile media professional with a passion for impactful storytelling and communication. I hold a Master’s degree from the University of Kent in England and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Media Communication from Asbury University. My experience spans news production, digital media, and public outreach, with a focus on making complex information accessible and engaging for diverse audiences.
As a Morning News Producer, I managed high-pressure deadlines, collaborated with city officials and law enforcement, and created compelling content on transportation safety and public policy. I also bring expertise in digital content creation, social media strategy, and podcast production through my work as Executive Producer and Social Media Manager for the Generation Varied podcast.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Creole, and proficient in French, I bring a multicultural perspective to every project. My love for traveling and exploring cultures enriches my ability to connect with people from all walks of life. With technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, newsroom software, and Microsoft Office, I am driven to deliver impactful content that informs, inspires, and connects communities.
Thanks for stopping by!
Sincerely, Sophie
